Kelsey and Sam met on a group hiking trip at Mount Cheaha State Park. Kelsey and her roommate planned the trip and invited Sam's friend, Zach. Then, Zach invited Sam. Halfway up the mountain, Sam realized "wow Kelsey is the funniest person I have ever met. Truly a comedic genius." At the top of the mountain, Sam thought, "and she's pretty." Kelsey just liked that someone was finally laughing at her jokes. She thought he was pretty cute too. It has been 5 years of hikes, trips, and laughs.

Kelsey and Sam love adventure... and they really love water sports. Kelsey has been waterskiing and wakeboarding since she was 5 years old. She taught Sam how to wakeboard in 2016 and they have been competing and learning new tricks ever since. On Memorial Day weekend, they were out on the boat. Sam asked if Kelsey would want to wakeboard at the same time as he wake surfed. Minutes into wakeboarding, Sam pulled a Ringpop out of his life vest and asked Kelsey to marry him. (His greatest wakeboarding trick yet!) She yelled "yes!" and they jumped off their boards. Sam put the Ringpop on Kelsey's hand. When they got back on the boat, Sam pulled out the real ring and switched it for the Ringpop.

St. Patrick's Day is our favorite holiday - the luckiest day of the year! And we feel so lucky to have found each other. So, we thought there was no better date to celebrate our wedding.

We are lucky to have friends and family from all over. Since everyone will be traveling, regardless of where we had our wedding, we decided to have it somewhere fun! We can't wait to celebrate with you all in Las Vegas!
