FAQs

Question

Will you be having a more traditional reception?

Answer

Yes, at some point! We're planning on hosting a larger reception with as many of our friends and family from all over as we can within a year or so, as we know due to the quick nature of our wedding that many of our friends and family aren't able to attend this weekend. We will keep everyone posted as our plans for this firm up!

Question

If I'm coming in from out of town for the BBQ Brunch at Pig Beach, where should I stay?

Answer

We recommend Airbnb as the best option for booking a place to stay in NYC, as the rates are comparable or better to what you can expect at a hotel and you will get much more space. Our apartment is in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn and we love our neighborhood, but it can be a bit out of the way if you're looking to do some sightseeing while in town. That said, Brooklyn Heights, Downtown Brooklyn or lower Manhattan are good bets for neighborhoods with easy access to the rest of the city via the subway and where we'll be in Brooklyn!

Question

What's the deal with the BBQ Brunch at Pig Beach? What should I expect?

Answer

Pig Beach is going to be super casual -- like, wear jeans and sneakers casual. This is not a reception or a sit-down brunch so please do not feel obligated to dress up or bring a gift. Feel free to come and go as you please as well. Pig Beach does not allow for reservations in any of its spaces unless you buy out the place, so we're planning on just getting there when it opens on Saturday and posting up!

For all the days along the way
