Maid of Honor
Kate and Gabriella connected their freshman year in a history class and it was like two universes collided and decided to co-exist. Inseparable immediately, Gabriella and Kate’s lives quickly became intertwined— from working on research projects together, to Gabriella taking Kate to Chipotle for her first time it was clear that these two were meant to be forever friends. Even as the two have grown up, moved away, gotten jobs and even gone back to school, their bond remains strong and their connection has only deepened. Kate is so lucky to have met Gabriella and even more lucky to have found a second home with her family. To have Gabriella by her side as her Maid of Honor, is truly a blessing for Kate.

Ellie and Kate met the first day they moved into Husman Hall 4 West at Xavier University. During their first hall meeting that night, they locked eyes and knew they were meant to be the best of friends. For their first year of friendship, they lived directly across from each other and spent every waking moment together-- something that hasn't changed since Ellie is Kate's upstairs neighbor today. Countless laughs, late night drives and lazy Saturday mornings makeup 8 years of wonderful friendships between the two. Kate is forever grateful to have met a friend like Ellie and can't wait to celebrate with her on the special day!

Claire and Kate met their first few days of freshman year at Xavier and just never left each others sides. One fateful Sunday lunch right after Manresa and the rest was history. Soon it quickly became Ellie, Claire and Kate doing everything together. From nights out, to travelling together, to cooking every dinner together for a full year, the two have shared countless memories together. Kate is incredibly excited have Claire by her side on her wedding day!

Kate and Alysia actually meet on Instagram during their freshman year at Xavier. After one lunch together in the caf, they both knew they were meant to be friends for life! Quickly, Kate integrated Alysia into her trio with Ellie and Claire. Kate is so blessed to have shared in this life with Alysia, from being a bridesmaid in her wedding to being an unofficial aunt to her daughter—Alysia is more than her best friend, she is like another sister. Kate is so ready to share in this moment with Alysia by her side!

Kate and Kortney lived on the same floor their freshman year at Xavier but it would be a few years before they became permeant parts of each others lives. Kortney and Kate connected more deeply their junior year of college and became fast friends, sharing many giggles and an unusual amount of old reality tv shows. Kate does not know a more driven, kind, hilarious and fashionable person than Kortney. Kate can not wait to have Kortney by her side for her wedding.

Kate and Carlee met right before their senior year at Xavier but they will both tell you they feel like they have been friends for their whole life! Immediately it felt as if Carlee was the missing puzzle piece in Kate’s life. Together they could argue, giggle, yell, play fight and still say “I love you” by the end of the night. Everyone around them can agree that the bond between Kate and Carlee is unique-- or as Carlee would put it, Kate is like her other sister she didn’t want and that is why they can argue, makeup and laugh till' tears all in the same 5 minute span. Kate is so ready to celebrate with Carlee by her side.

If you ask Kate and Alex when or how they met, neither of them can recall the specific details but both will attest that one day they woke up and were just forever apart of each others lives. Kate is so grateful for the friendship they share as it has truly inspired to move through the world with a passion for people and strong purpose of doing good for others. Alex is the type of friend who pushes you to open your mind and your heart to others. Kate is so ready to have Alex by her side at her wedding.

Kate has known Emma the longest of any of the other bridesmaids, but that's because they are sisters! Growing up along side Emma has been one of the greatest gifts in Kate's life. Watching Emma mature, grow and take on new challenges has been incredibly exciting for Kate. Kate is forever grateful to have her sister by her side on her wedding day.

Sam sand Riley go way back— like 18 years old in a new city just trying to figure out how to connect their education to their passions— back. From campaigning together in the 2016 election, to battling it out in Mock Trial— Sam and Riley’s four years at Xavier were deeply interwoven. And if going to school together, and being in the same clubs weren’t enough, they decided they would work together at the Blind Lemon (the BEST bar in Cincinnati). Early morning PPP seminars flowed into late nights serving at the Lemon— and somewhere in there a deep and wonderful friendship was formed. Sam is so excited to have Riley with her on the big day!

Emma was Sam's first friend in Cincinnati, but their stories started thousands of miles apart as they prepared from separate continents to be roommates at Xavier University. From the first nights away from home, it was obvious that Sam and Emma were meant to be life long friends. They helped each other navigate the anxieties of freshman year, enjoyed countless Currito smoothies and dreamt about their post-grad lives! Sam couldn't be happier to still have Emma by her side.

Mary and Sam met in the nerdiest place in the world: Student Government Association— and how grateful they both are that they needed that resume booster! A friendship that started in the Gallagher Student Center has moved across 2 cities, 7 apartments, and 8 years. From gallivanting across a snowy OTR in the winter to moving into Ziegler Pool during the summer— you are hard pressed to find Sam without Mary and Mary without Sam! Sam is so incredibly lucky to have Mary with her on her wedding day and to share in her wedding season with such a wonderful friend.

Room 208: the place where bonds are formed— or atleast that’s what Sam and Megan would say. Together since their freshman year, Sam and Megan’s relationship truly displays the value of being present with those you love. Lucky to have spent their four years at Xavier together, Sam could not imagine a world without Megan’s wisdom, laughter, kindness and fierce loyalty. Sam is incredibly thankful to share her wedding season with Megan and to have Megan stand by her on her wedding day.

Younger than Sam by four full years, Genna is Sam's built in bestie. The two girls have grown up together-- enjoying yearly family vacations, learning every board game ever and most importantly competiting to have the best 10 year-old trip with grandma and papa (even though it was never a competition)! Sam is wonderfully blessed to share her wedding season with her younger sister, her best friend and her Maid of Honor.

Ally has known Sam her whole life, and Sam can't remember a day without her little sister! A sisterhood that started as making potions in the backyard, the girls enjoyed being in marching band, speech team, and the SALT team together in high school. Now they are getting to share the incredible experience of being brides together as they both plan their weddings! Sam is incredibly grateful for her sister and her love on the big day!

Even though they live five minutes from each other, Sabrina and Sam still manage to spend hours on the phone with each other every week. Their favorite activities include yoga, long walks, and sharing vegetarian recipes. The two girls met their freshman year at Xavier through a shared vision of the world. They remain sources of spiritual comfort for each other, and love pondering life's biggest and smallest questions. Sam is so happy to have Sabrina's support on her wedding day.

Starting college with pink hair made for a quick start to a friendship with the only other girl who matched her. Sam and Daphne quickly realized that their similarities didn't end there, and took to spending all of their time together. From fall break to annual trips to California Sam is grateful that 2,500 miles haven't gotten in the way of their adventures together! She is beyond excited to start this new adventure with Daphne by her side!
