We want all the parents in our lives to enjoy a child-free evening where they can relax and celebrate! Unless your invitation is explicitly addressed to you and your children, we kindly ask that kids do not attend.
If you have a plus one, it will be indicated both on your invitation and on your RSVP on the wedding website. We apologize, but due to venue capacity, we are unable to accommodate plus ones for all guests.
Dress Code: Bold & Festive Semi Formal! We’re embracing color and personality for our big day! For the ladies: Cocktail or semi-formal dresses in fun, bright colors—feel free to play with prints, textures, and accessories. For the gentlemen: Suits or slacks with suit jackets, paired with colorful or patterned button-down shirts. Dress to celebrate—stylish, confident, and ready to dance!
For our ceremony, street parking and nearby garage parking are available around Washington Park. At the reception, you can park in the Peaslee Center Lot or the Ziegler Garage—both within walking distance. We encourage guests to Uber to the ceremony and use the transportation we’re providing to get to the reception. A trolley will run every 10–12 minutes to shuttle guests between venues. Please note, you will need to arrange your own Uber or Lyft at the end of the night.
Absolutely! We encourage friends and family who plan to drink to Uber to our wedding, take the streetcar, or walk to the venue if they’re staying nearby.
Our ceremony will start promptly at 5:00 PM at First Lutheran Church. We encourage you to arrive 15–30 minutes early to explore the beautiful church and find your seat. Please note, if you are not seated by 5:00 PM, you may not be able to enter once the ceremony has begun. The reception will begin at 6:00 PM at Woodward Theatre, starting with a cocktail hour.
You will RSVP with link on our wedding website. All you need to do is type in your name, confirm your (and who ever else is on your invite) attendance, and notate any dietary restrictions. We will cut RSVPs on on 6/19/2026 at Midnight. If you do not RSVP on time, you will not be able to attend as we will not have a seat for you at our wedding.
