Question

Can we bring our children?

Answer

We want all of the parents in our lives to have a child free evening so they can celebrate and enjoy sometime for themselves! We ask that unless your invitation is explicitly addressed to you and your children, they do not attend.

Do I have a plus one?

Answer

If you have a plus one, it will be stated both on your invite and on your RSVP on the wedding website. We apologize but due to venue capacity we cannot accommodate plus ones for all guests.

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code is summer cocktail/semi formal! Think bright colors, fun patterns and flowing fabrics. For ladies, we encourage cocktail, midi and maxi length dresses in fun colors. For gentlemen, we recommend dress shirts and slacks, or a suit with bright accents.

Where should I park for the ceremony and the reception?

Answer

For our ceremony, there will street parking avaible and garage parking surronding Washington Park. At our reception, you can park in the Peaslee Center Lot or the Ziegler Garage-- both are walking distance. We are encouraging our guests to uber to our ceremony and take the transportation we are providing to get to our reception. The trolley will run every 10-12 minutes to take guests to the venue. You will have to secure an Uber or Lyft at the end of the night!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Well of course! We encourage friends and family who plan to drink to uber to our wedding, take the streetcar or walk to the venue if they are staying near by!

What time does the wedding start?

Answer

Our ceremony will start promptly at 5:00pm at First Lutheran Church. We encourage you to arrive 15-30 minutes early to the ceremony to explore the beautiful church and find your seat. If you are not in your seat by 5:00pm, you will not be able to enter the ceremony. The reception kicks off at 6:00pm at Woodward Theatre, starting with a cocktail hour.

How do I RSVP and when do I have to do it?

Answer

You will RSVP with link on our wedding website. All you need to do is type in your name, confirm your (and who ever else is on your invite) attendance, and notate any dietary restrictions. We will cut RSVPs on on 6/19/2026 at Midnight. If you do not RSVP on time, you will not be able to attend as we will not have a seat for you at our wedding.
