Oahu Recommendations

The Wedding Website of Samantha Tourville and Kanila Chang
Below is a list of our favorite food, beaches, hikes, and things to do. Here are a few tips before you go: Be kind and respectful, the locals here are a welcoming people who want to share their culture and land with you, embrace it. Take all trash with you and always leave an area better than you found it. Plan Ahead browse our recommendations and more. Look to make reservations for restaurants and tours well before getting to Hawaii as things book quickly. Use reef safe sunscreen. The sun is strong in Hawaii and we want to keep you and the environment safe and healthy. Do not touch sea-turtles, they are endangered. Stay hydrated, especially on hikes and at the beach. Jetlag sucks, we recommend sleeping as much as you can on the flight there. Once you get there, do not go back to sleep until it is bed time. Schedule a busy first full day, do not take a nap and go to sleep at regular time, you should wake up refreshed on day two.

Leonard's Bakery

Foodland Poke

We love the ahi and spicy ahi poke, be sure to also try the tako and edamame too! And don’t expect any rice with this we don’t do that here we buy it by the tub and eat it straight. Best part, you can get it at any Foodland, the local Hawaii grocery store food chain (similar to Stop & Shop or Publix).
