Do I need a visa to visit Scotland?
Answer
Sort of! You need what is called an ETA which is quicker, less expensive, and less stressful than a visa. It costs £16 ($22) and you should aim to fill it out at least one month before traveling. Here’s the link: https://www.gov.uk/eta

How do I get from the airport to the castle?
Answer
At the moment, we are also going to try to help as many people as possible in terms of carpooling to/from the castle. There is also a train station near the castle (Girvan) that you're able to access from Glasgow. You can visit the transportation page to learn a bit more.

Will there be food throughout the weekend?
Answer
Yes! We will have meals provided throughout the weekend but you’re more than welcome to bring small things yourself - there is a kitchen in the accommodation for anyone who needs it.

Do I need to exchange money?
Answer
We’d recommend always having a bit of cash on you for things where card isn’t guaranteed (ex. taxis), especially if you will be traveling before and after the wedding. You can generally exchange money at the airport or at certain spots throughout the city!

Do I get to choose my room?
Answer
Unfortunately no, the accommodation has been pre-arranged. We have tried our best to keep everyone traveling together in the same accommodation. Once you arrive on the property you’ll be told where you’re staying!

Do I get a plus one?
Answer
If your invite indicates a plus one then yes! If not, then unfortunately we can’t offer you a plus one. We only have so much space at the castle so we’ve opted to keep it small with close family and friends. We hope you understand!

How do I RSVP?
Answer
Visit the RSVP tab at the top of the website! After you type in and select your name, you'll be prompted with several questions. The first question gives us your overall yes or no, but we'd love it if you could scroll down and let us know about each specific day too—whether you'll be there and if you're planning to stay the night. It really helps us keep accurate numbers for the venue. We'd so appreciate you filling those out!
