Airport to wedding venue by car

The journey is about 2 hours by car. You can either cross the Puget Sound by ferry or drive south and take the Tacoma Narrows Bridge.

Airport to wedding venue by community transport

1. Take the Link Light Rail to Seattle Ferry Terminal - Link Light Rail 1-way fare is $3.00 / adult, fare must be purchased from kiosk before boarding the train. - 35 minutes on the train to Pioneer Square Link station and then a 10 minute walk through downtown Seattle to the Seattle Ferry Terminal. 2. Ferry ticket from Seattle to Bainbridge is $ 10.25 / adult and takes about 35 minutes 3. There are a few different buses that go north from Bainbridge but they are infrequent so we are planning to coordinate carpool pickups from Bainbridge for anyone who needs one. Please communicate your expected timing via the form below and we will plan times to pick up folks in Bainbridge. It's a little over an hour from Bainbridge to the venue via car.

A big hotel in Port Townsend that may or may not be haunted. Old and cool! It's a 25-minute drive from the venue. Note: The Port Townsend Film Festival is taking place during our wedding weekend, so book hotels, rentals, or camping as early as you can as it's a busy weekend with lots of out-of-town visitors.

Port Townsend has many other hotels, Airbnbs, Vrbos, and vacation rentals. You'll find more options here than Chimacum or Port Ludlow, plus you'll be close to restaurants, coffee shops, shopping, parks, and other fun things. Note: The Port Townsend Film Festival is taking place during our wedding weekend, so book hotels, rentals, or camping as early as you can as it's a busy weekend with lots of out-of-town visitors.

Camping

There's tons of camping around the area, including tent camping and RV hookup sites. The State Parks are great, but reserve early as they fill up. Note: The Port Townsend Film Festival is taking place during our wedding weekend, so book hotels, rentals, or camping as early as you can as it's a busy weekend with lots of out-of-town visitors. Free tent camping or car camping (no hookups) is available at White Lotus Farm the night of Saturday, 9-20. If you need a place to camp on Friday 9-19, The Janssens have offered space in their field for anyone who needs a spot! Please contact our transportation coordinator, Luke at the link above to let us know if you'll be camping at the Janssen's on Friday or at White Lotus on Saturday.
