We may already be married, but we still need to celebrate!

On a quiet snowy morning in December, Brianne was on the hunt for a great bagel and Sam was meeting a friend for coffee. Under the icy magnolia trees and rowhouses, the unanticipated pair found themselves walking into their favorite neighborhood spot, Big Bear Cafe, at the same time. As Sam walked up the front stoop and into the busy cafe, he turned to hold the door for a woman walking up behind him. The two stood in line together and Sam found himself intrigued by the blue-eyed woman that was now standing in his life behind him (Brianne has green eyes, but that's how Sam remembers the story). If anyone knows Sam, he, of course, struck up a conversation with this stranger. If anyone knows Brianne, she wondered why on earth this stranger was talking to her. With small talk dwindling and the barista yelling "NEXT!" at Sam in line, Brianne says "sooooooo...." to which Sam replies "May I give you my number?". The two met up for a drink (to which Sam was allegedly 45 minutes late) around the corner a few days later. And that's that.
