Family of the Bride
Family of the Groom
Officiant
John is my brother and Brian’s biggest fan. They first met when John was only 12 years old! Sometimes I am the odd man out (as pictured above), but I couldn’t be happier that John has an older brother now. Usually John and I can be found sitting on the ground stressing over a decision- however big or small, going on drives with the windows down and John plugged into the aux cord or discussing our favorite TV shows. John has been rooting for us since day one and we couldn’t think of anybody better to take on this role. John really knows how to work a crowd and is always making everybody laugh. We can’t wait to see what jokes (or dance moves) he has up his sleeve!
Best Man
As brothers, Nicholas and I have always been close. Sharing a lot of the same interests, we were always spending time together. Nicholas has been my primary co-op partner, my knee hockey opponent, and my best friend. I am so excited to have him by my side!
Maid of Honor
“Sisters Sisters -there were never such devoted sisters”. Megan and I send this lyric from White Christmas to each other whenever we need it most. I’ve known since day one that she is the person I want to be by my side on this special day. I know Megan will be there for me every step of the way- calming me down when my stress gets out of control, complimenting me whenever I’m feeling bad, and being just as annoyed about something as I am even if I'm in the wrong. Most importantly though, I know she will always be there to support Brian and I because of the wonderful, caring person that she is. We are looking forward to hearing Megan’s big speech...haha
Assistant to the Best Man
Max has been my best friend since high school. We have a weird love of anything stupid and there are a lot of times where we are making each other laugh over jokes that we have made up over the year. Max is essentially a part of our family. I am so glad that he will be up there with me on my big day as I was there for him.
Dog of Honor
Teddi Marie is the reason I call myself a dog person now. I never thought that day would come, but she changed my mind very quickly. It didn’t take her long to adjust to the Mastrangelo family lifestyle either. She can usually be found chilling on the couch watching her shows or following you around so she never has to be alone. She is an absolute angel and we love her. Even though she won’t be there on the actual wedding day we will still be thinking of her!
Dog of Honor
Butters aka Butts is probably the goofiest dog I have ever met. She thinks that she is the world's largest lap dog and gets annoyed when she is not literally sitting on top of you. I wish she could be there to take part but she will be there in spirit!
Bridesmaid
Alex was one of the first friends I met in college and eventually one of my roommates. I could tell she was hesitant at first with my bubbly personality and blue pants, but luckily I didn’t scare her off and we quickly became great friends. We have had our share of fun times - from runs blasting the Lumineers and T-Swift for all to hear, to late night Hill trips spilling curly fries in the snow, to randomly meeting up in Greece at the Pink Palace for a really weird night and everything else in between. I can always count on Alex for a nice phone chat out of the blue and a great birthday Tiramisu. I am so happy to have her by my side on this day!
Groomsman
Mike and I started to grow close in the later years of college when Mike was living with Chris and Joe. With a shared love of storytelling, Mike and I are always interested in breaking down videogames or talking about books that we are reading (or writing in Mike's case). Mike is always down to play a new game and I was glad to hear that he was down to join me on the big day!
Bridesmaid
Emily and I met through our friend Rachel and eventually she was one of my college roommates. Emily helped me survive our countless business classes at Stonehill. She always had the best ideas for our projects like Shoes & Booze. In every class we had together we were always able to help each other pass the time- like in Literature with Anna Ross where we counted every time she said the word “like”. Emily is always up for a new adventure and happy to go with the flow even if that means we end her birthday night at King’s Bowling. She never fails to make it a good time and most importantly will never let me take a shot alone! You can always count on Emily to share a good poem or toast when we all get together. I can’t wait to hear what she has to say on the wedding day!
Groomsman
Chris is one of my roommates from college and the biggest proponent of getting me off my computer playing video games and to UConn sports games. However, that doesn't mean that Chris and I haven't played our fair share of Mario games. Chris is always in for a good time and I am happy that we will get another chance to see him on the dance floor. I am looking forward to having him up there with me on the big day!
Bridesmaid
Rachel and I also met in college and she was one of my roommates. After finding out early on that one of her favorite childhood books is the Seven Silly Eaters (same as mine) AND that her family owns a pizza restaurant I knew we would get along! Rachel and I are very similar and she is my planning partner in crime. When we aren't planning trips or thinking of fun things to do we are usually having long chats about life. She is the sweetest, most thoughtful person and always spends her time thinking up the best gift ideas. I am so lucky to have her by my side on this special day! If she gets hold of the microphone though just be prepared that 'All Night Longer' or 'House Party' is about to come on.
Groomsman
Joe is one of my college roommates. When Joe and I are in the same room we have a habit of speaking total nonsense and laughing a lot. We also share a love of EDM and food, then again who doesn't love food? I can't wait to see Joe mincing about on the big day!
Bridesmaid
Rael is my cousin and has the special role of representing our cousin crew! Rael and I go way back to the days of Canobie Lake Park, Disney World, Kimball's and Summer play dates almost every week. With the help of our siblings we got an A+ in harassing our parents for double sleepovers every chance we could! As we got older we only grew closer and those summer play dates turned into after work drinks in the city, Irish pubs and Halloween parties. Rael welcomed Brian into the family from the very beginning. She is always reaching out for life updates and I know I can always count on her. I still remember her call on the day we got engaged. She was almost as happy as we were! We are so excited to have her be a part of this day!
Ring Bearer
PJ is my cousin Kori and her husband Peter’s son. He is the sweetest boy and has the best laugh! PJ is a little shy when first meeting you, but he eventually warms up! If he is really comfortable with you he may even bring out some of his robot moves. We love spending time with him whenever we can. We can’t wait to see PJ walk down the aisle with his brother, Charlie!
Ring Bearer
Charlie is Kori and Peter’s other son. He is very curious and loves to play! To this day we are all still very impressed that the Harry Potter wand spoke to him, but you know what they say- the wand chooses the wizard. Charlie is such a joy and we love when we get to see him! We can’t wait to see Charlie all dressed up for the wedding!
Flower Girl
Josie is my cousin Dougie and his wife Bara’s daughter. Unfortunately, we haven’t been able to meet her yet, but we have seen a lot of pictures and videos! She is so beautiful. Josie loves to rock climb and travel the world alongside Dougie and Bara. I think she has already traveled more than us!
Flower Girl
Maddie is my cousin Taryn and her husband Connor’s daughter. We love when we have family Zoom chats so we can see her and listen to her stories and songs about popcorn. She is also the biggest Frozen fan- if we are lucky maybe we will get to hear her sing Let It Go at the wedding! We wish they didn't live so far away so we could see them more often!
Ring Bearer
John is Taryn and Connor’s son. He is quite the adventurous kid and would choose Ramen over everything else for his Birthday dinner. We also love it when John makes appearances on the family Zoom calls and wish we could see him more! We hope that he grows up to be just as big of an Office fan as his mom and we are. Hopefully the Little Tikes Office people will help!
