If you’re looking for additional places to stay beyond Julian, here are some nearby areas and their approximate driving distances from our venue: Santa Ysabel – 10 minutes (7 miles) Ramona – 30 minutes (22 miles) Escondido – 50 minutes (40 miles) San Diego – 1 hour 15 minutes (60 miles) Carlsbad – 1 hour 20 minutes (65 miles) Temecula – 1 hour 15 minutes (60 miles) Each of these areas offers different styles of lodging, from cozy inns and boutique hotels to major chains and resorts. If you’re looking for a wider range of options, Escondido and San Diego have plenty of hotels, while Temecula offers a beautiful wine-country stay.
