FAQs

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

Formal invites are on the way, but you can RSVP anytime through our wedding website! At the top of this page, click on the RSVP button and enter your name to pull up your RSVP card. Please make sure to RSVP by September 1.

Question

What about kids and plus ones?

Answer

We wish everyone could come celebrate! The ceremony at Church of the Incarnation of open to all who wish to attend, but due to space restrictions at our reception venue, only the guests indicated on your invitation will be accommodated.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

On Saturday, please dress in cocktail attire (longer length dresses/skirts, no denim, tie recommended for men). All events will be indoors, so you shouldn’t have to worry about the finicky Texas weather!

Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

We’d recommend getting to Church of the Incarnation around 2:30 and no later than 2:40 PM. Because of Sam’s role as a priest in the Diocese of Dallas and Allie’s involvement at Incarnation, we’ve cast a wide invitation for the ceremony. We don’t anticipate running out of seats, but it may take a minute to settle in!

Question

What is parking like?

Answer

Church of the Incarnation has a parking lot with plenty of space. There are limited spots in the lot at Chatelet, so plan to street park in the neighborhood.

Question

Who can come to the ceremony at Church of the Incarnation?

Answer

We'd love to welcome everyone! Anyone who would like to join us for the wedding service is invited to attend and stay after for a champagne toast.

Question

Can I sneak some pictures during the service?

Answer

Actually, please don't. Because the marriage liturgy is a solemn worship service, taking photos at any point during the ceremony would not be appropriate. Just as you would in church, please keep your phones on silent and out of sight for the entire service.
