If you arrive in Peabody early and have a free afternoon, we highly recommend stopping by this amazing art and cultural history museum!
Duck Tour
If you're looking to explore Boston, you've got to try the Duck Tours! These converted WWII vehicles take you through the city's best spots before splashing right into the Charles River for amazing views of the skyline. The guides are hilarious and full of interesting stories, and it's a fun way to see both the historic and modern sides of Boston in about 80 minutes. You can hop on at the Museum of Science, New England Aquarium, or Prudential Center.
Explore Downtown Boston
If you choose not to rent a car and want to explore Boston proper, you can hop on the commuter rail from Salem and journey to some of our favorite areas including the North End, Newbury Street, Brookline, and Coolidge Corner.
Shopping and Strolling on Newbury
Newbury Street in Back Bay is perfect for window shopping and people-watching. Start at the Public Garden (say hi to the Swan Boats if they're running!) and work your way down the street's eight blocks of boutiques, cafes, and galleries.
Visit Fenway Park
Even if there isn't a game, taking a tour of Fenway Park is a must - it's America's oldest ballpark and full of history. The tour guides share amazing stories about the Green Monster and the Red Sox legacy.
Iconic Boston Museums
Boston is home to some of our favorite museums! The Museum of Fine Arts is spectacular, but if you're short on time, the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum is a hidden gem. It's set in a stunning Venetian-style palace with a gorgeous courtyard garden.
