Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Samantha Renee Lucero and Adrian Michael Pacheco
If you are an outdoorsy person, El Paso has a handful of fun activities that are 1-3 hours away. If you decide to fly in a day or two early, or stay longer here are a few recommendations. We also included a few of our favorite Mexican restaurants.
Franklin Mountains State Park

Franklin Mountains State Park

Tom Mays Park Access Road, El Paso, TX 79930
, (915) 566-6441

For our highly motivated friends, try a hike Saturday morning before the ceremony. Just remember you have a LONG day ahead of you with the Lucero and Pacheco clan.

L & J Cafe

L & J Cafe

3622 East Missouri Avenue, El Paso, TX 79903
, (915) 566-8418

This is Sam’s favorite restaurant, she has to go to every time they are in town. Adrian is in big trouble if he ever goes without her. We recommend the mini anything(tacos, enchiladas, flautas etc). It has a hole in the wall vibe but the food is just too good to miss.

Carlsbad Caverns National Park

Carlsbad Caverns National Park

Carlsbad, NM 88220
, (575) 785-2232

If you have an extra day, I highly suggest taking a drive to the caverns. It can get a little chilly on the way down so remember to bring a light sweater or jacket, oh and don't forget walking shoes.

Carlos and Mickey's Mexican Restaurant & Cantina

Carlos and Mickey's Mexican Restaurant & Cantina

12111 Montwood Drive, El Paso, TX 79936
, (915) 307-6886

This restaurant is just a gem in El Paso, you’re tummy’s will leave happy and your hearts full. Make sure to try one of their Texas size Margaritas. There’s two locations this one is closest to all the wedding activities. Maybe stop by between the ceremony and evening events.

Scenic Drive - Overlook

Scenic Drive - Overlook

Scenic Drive, El Paso, TX 79902

A beautiful look out point to view all of El Paso and our neighboring Mexican city, Juarez. If you have sometime, just go for a cruise and enjoy the view.

Chico's Tacos

Chico's Tacos

11381 Montwood Drive, El Paso, TX 79936
, (915) 849-8777

If you ever meet anyone from El Paso, they will insist you try Chico's.... you wont regret it. It is more of a fast food vibe and cash only. It was also a popular spot for Sam and her HS besties to stop by for a late night snack. P.S. if you plan on ordering a double order of the tacos, order 2 singles instead (extra cheese please).

White Sands National Park Visitor Center

White Sands National Park Visitor Center

19955 U.S. 70, Alamogordo, NM 88310
, (575) 479-6124
Cattleman's Steakhouse at Indian Cliffs Ranch

Cattleman's Steakhouse at Indian Cliffs Ranch

3450 S Fabens Carlsbad Rd, Fabens, TX 79838
, (915) 544-3200

For our out of state friends and family who love a good steak, make your way out to Cattleman's and enjoy the sunset view. Highly recommend for a date night :)

Ruidoso

Ruidoso

Ruidoso, NM

If you really decide to extend your stay, you can always drive up to Ruidoso, NM and rent a cabin for a day or 2. During the winter this is a go to sky resort for El Pasoans.

For all the days along the way
