A historic cobblestone street downtown (near Wall Street) with plenty of bars and outdoor seating!
Where Battery Park meets the Hudson River. A fun spot to eat and drink outside with views of the Hudson River and the Statue of Liberty.
Visit our favorite borough, Brooklyn! Take a <10 minute ferry from Wall Street to Dumbo/Pier 1 to visit the beautiful Brooklyn Bridge Park, where we enjoy going for longer runs on weekends. The East River Ferry departs from Wall Street every 20-30 minutes and costs $2.75.
Walk the Brooklyn Bridge Pedestrian Walkway (~1 mile) for stunning views of Brooklyn, Manhattan, and the bridge's architecture.
Enjoy a unique perspective of NYC by walking the High Line, an elevated park, greenway, and rail trail created on a former New York Central Railroad on the west side of Manhattan. The two of us enjoyed many walks on the High Line during our Chelsea days!
One of our favorite spots during our Chelsea days for runs and relaxing alike. Hudson River Park runs 4 miles along Manhattan's west side. Enjoy more than a dozen public piers, miles of pathways and landscapes, and panoramic views along the Hudson River.
Located at the World Trade Center, the 9/11 Memorial Museum tells the story of 9/11 through media, narratives, and a collection of monumental and authentic artifacts, presenting visitors with personal stories of loss, recovery, and hope. We recommend purchasing tickets in advance.
We went here on our first date and we're getting married here. We like this place.
