What is the weather like in Lake Tahoe?

Answer

The weather in Lake Tahoe can vary daily, so please check online prior to packing on the week of! It averages between 70-78 degrees during the day time and can drop between 35-55 degrees at night time. The pools and hot tubs are heated, so definitely bring a bathing suit for the weekend! If you are into cold plunging, the lake will be perfect for you as well! ;)

Are there shuttles around Olympic Valley and North Lake Tahoe?

Everline Resort offers a free hotel shuttle service to and from The Village at Palisades for registered hotel guests, from 8 a.m. to 10:45 p.m. See details on the website at: https://www.everlineresort.com/resort/know-before-you-go/ The Tahoe Area Rapid Transit (TART) is a free shuttle that has a route from Olympic Valley to the lakefront as well as a route on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe for sight seeing. Is there a shuttle or parking for the Welcome Party at Za's Lakefront?

Answer

We are providing a shuttle service for all guests from Everline Resort to Za's and back! -Pick-up Times at Everline: 4:45PM, 5:15PM, and 5:45PM -Return Times at Za's: 7:00PM, 7:30PM, 8:00PM, and 8:30PM If you decide to drive, there is limited parking at the restaurant itself, so we recommend parking at the Boatworks Mall lot or in front of Coffee Connexion. Once you park, walk towards the lake to access the walking path along the water which will lead you right to Za's Lakefront! It is about a 6 minute walk from the Coffee Connexion lot to Za's.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

There is valet and self-parking at the Everline Resort hotel entrance (a ~3-5 minute walk to the ceremony and reception area).

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held on the 10th Tee of the Everline Golf Course. Please ensure to wear thick heels or heel covers for this portion of the celebrations, as we will be on grass. The cocktail hour will be held on the Spa Deck and the reception will be held on the resort's Pavilion overlooking the mountains. Guests may want to bring a jacket for the evening as all events will be outdoors.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

For the welcome party, lakeside dressy casual attire is perfect! The event is indoors overlooking the beautiful and scenic Lake Tahoe. Guests may also enjoy pictures on the dock or walk along the lakeside trail before the party! Guys - we recommend khaki pants, nice jeans, short/long-sleeve button downs, sportscoat, and/or jackets. Ladies - we recommend sundresses, midi-dresses, blouses, pants, and light jackets. For the wedding day, we'd love to see our family and friends dress up with us! We request that you wear your best mountain resort cocktail attire for the wedding day! This includes cocktail dresses, floral prints, dressy jumpsuits, suits and ties! No jeans please :)

We have a carefully curated guest list, so please check your invitation for a plus-one. If your invite includes a "+1," feel free to bring a date!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our welcome party and wedding will be adults-only so that everyone can relax and enjoy the festivities! We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time so you can celebrate the weekend with us. If you are extending your vacation with the family, please make advance childcare accommodations. Tips for Adjusting to the Altitude

Answer

Olympic Valley base elevation is ~6,000 feet. Everybody responds differently to a change in altitude and the following tips may help: (1) Hydration is key. Drink extra fluids before and during your trip. Bring liquid IV! (2) Take time to acclimate and get used to the elevation before embarking on hikes, etc!

Beware Of Bears !!

Answer

The bears are out and about looking for a small smackerel of honey. Do not leave food in your car or left out around your accommodations.
