JT and I met at Stagecoach Country Music Festival in Indio, CA on April 26, 2019 through a mutual friend (Margie!). After a day at the pool, JT and I hit it off dancing/singing to Old Dominion's "Snapback" song that night, as JT was wearing his infamous Chicago Cubs snapback hat. For 5 years now, we have celebrated my birthday and our 'meet-aversary' at Stagecoach!
We started dating June 28th, 2019 at JT's favorite small dive bar in Newport Beach, CA called Cassidy's. We were drinking Bomb Pops (a fourth of July looking shot that JT loves), and a stranger asked JT if he and his "girlfriend" wanted a drink. I looked at JT and said "Am I your girlfriend?!" and JT said "yes you are!" :) The rest is history!
On December 28th, 2023, JT orchestrated a plan (a plan I thought I was making) for our families to join us for dinner at one of our favorite restaurants, U-Tiki, in Jupiter, FL. We walked the dock to take our usual sunset pictures while waiting on a table, and to my surprise JT had "one more Christmas present for me!" He got down on one knee across from the Jupiter Lighthouse surrounded by one of the prettiest sunsets we've ever seen! Of course I said YES!
We both have a passion for everything outdoors: dirtbiking, boating, camping, traveling, and snowboarding at Heavenly Ski Resort in Lake Tahoe! We found out early on our parents had the same timeshare at the Ridge Tahoe (a ski-in/ski-out resort at 'Stagecoach' Lodge) in South Lake Tahoe since we were little kids - what a small world! We probably passed each other on the slopes back in the day! We also enjoy bringing our dog Boots around with us everywhere, especially to play in the snow! We couldn't think of a more beautiful place than Lake Tahoe to get married! We are excited to create our own family and friend traditions in Olympic Valley, Lake Tahoe starting with our big day on June 1st, 2025!!
