Groomswoman
Sam and Rachel met in Lake Highland Preparatory School's drama department. Once they decided to carpool to school together, that's when their friendship truly began to blossom.
Groomsman
Taylor was Sam's freshman year roommate at Chapman University - along with Wolfie Tash. From there, they stuck together through all of college (and then some), including joining the same fraternity and making their junior year final project together.
Groomsman
Nico was Sam's big brother in their college fraternity. As time has gone on, they worked together on Sam's senior thesis project, played hundreds of hours of Dungeons & Dragons, and continue to support each other's creative endeavors regularly.
Groomsman
Sam and Brandon met through The Players' Society at Chapman University, where they participated in half a dozen shows together. Fun fact: Julie and Brandon dated first back in college, so keep an eye on him during the ceremony for any funny business.
Groomsman
Sam met Danny in college as "the guy who always gave people rides home after events." Shortly thereafter, they discovered a common love of media and production, before founding Too Lemon with Emerson Harris and working together to this day.
Groomsman
Sam met Emerson through Chapman University's The Players' Society production of The Room. From there, they continued a creative friendship that has blossomed into Too Lemon (with Danny Kane), where they continue to make art for themselves and for business.
Bridesmaid
Julie met Melissa at the ice skating rink when she was 6 years old - they are (basically) sisters. When Julie graduated, she moved to California, while Melissa stayed in Missouri, but long distance could never shake their familial bond. They've been through so much together, but their friendship is based in way more than nostalgia. (especially since Julie has a terrible memory... if you want to know about her childhood, maybe ask Melissa.)
Bridesmaid
Julie met Loren at the ice skating rink in 2010. Their 15 year long friendship feels like an endless blur of sleepovers, sunburns, Buffalo Wild Wings, and uncontrollable giggling. Now they live on opposite sides of the country - LA and Boston - but Julie never laughs harder than she does during their monthly(ish) Facetime calls, annual friendship trips, and of course...the biting incident.
Bridesmaid
Julie met Aharonit on the very first day of their freshman year at Chapman. They moved in together the next year, and were roommates until 2016. Aharonit is the most supportive friend anyone could ever ask for, and encouraged Julie to join The Players' Society, where she had many of her favorite college experiences. Nowadays, the bond is as strong as ever, and they enjoy a weekly(ish) wine & cheese hang.
Bridesmaid
Kelsi and Julie first met in 2015, at rehearsals for 'The Rocky Horror Picture Show'. Their friendship truly began when Julie ran to the bathroom in the middle of a class to have a panic attack, and Kelsi followed her to make sure she was okay, even though she barely knew her. Ever since then, they've been inseparable. They were roommates from 2016 to the very end of 2020 (along with Jalen and Matt).
Bridesmaid
Julie met Matt in 2015, through Chapman University's The Players' Society production of The Room. They were roommates from 2016 to the very end of 2020 (along with Kelsi and Jalen). Matt is an absolute gem who never fails to put a smile on Julie's face. He has a contagious level of passion for the people and things he loves. Julie said she'd never be interested in watching anime... we have Matt to thank for that!
Bridesmaid
Julie met Jalen in 2015, through Chapman University's The Players' Society production of The Room. They were roommates from 2016 to the very end of 2020 (along with Kelsi and Matt), and their friendship has only grown stronger since then. They both work from home, which allows for weekday hangouts, often consisting of anime binges, long venting sessions, and a shared dark humor.
Ring Bearer
Julie's adorable nephew! The son of Julie's brother, Bobby, and sister-in-law, Chelsea.
Flower Girl
Julie's adorable niece! The daughter of Julie's brother, Bobby, and sister-in-law, Chelsea.
Officiant
Sam and Julie met Casey during a hallowed production of High School Musical in college. He and Sam have collaborated on many creative projects and hope to continue for the foreseeable future. Casey is always a welcome friend with his humor, positivity, and creativity.
Cat of the Bride and Groom
He wishes he could attend the wedding, but alas, he would be too terrified..
