The Ambassador Chicago

A block of rooms has been reserved at a discounted rate at the Ambassador Chicago, a boutique hotel in the Gold Coast neighborhood located one mile north of the Ivy Room and a few blocks from Oak Street Beach. The hotel will extend the rates for a few days before/after the wedding as available, if you would like to extend your visit to Chicago. Please book by June 3 to receive the special rate. Cancellation is allowed until five days prior to check-in. To book your room and receive the discounted rate, please call the direct reservations line at 1-312-229-6760 or email acreservations@journalhotels.com and refer to the Cox Marconi Wedding Block. We have arranged for discounted parking in a small lot just 1/2 block from the hotel, at the rate of $42 per night (maybe as low as $30 per night if at least 15 cars participate), as compared to $67 per night to valet at the hotel. 4th of July Weekend

As our wedding will be taking place on the Friday following the 4th of July, we suggest you book your accommodations as far in advance as possible for the best rates! Please also note that The Ambassador is not far from Navy Pier and the lakefront, where the 4th of July fireworks will be taking place around 9:30 pm on Thursday. If you are arriving Thursday, it is likely that traffic will be a little worse than usual, so please plan accordingly.
