Doors to the Ivy Room will open on Friday, 7/5, at 5:30 pm. We ask that guests are seated by 5:45 pm. Due to the layout of the space, late arrivals cannot be seated during the ceremony. If you want to arrive early, check out the Berkshire Room cocktail lounge or West Town bakery, both right across the street, or Pops for Champagne at the corner of Ohio and State.
We encourage our guests to use Uber, Lyft or taxi services if possible for convenience and safety. The Ivy Room is located in downtown Chicago at 12 East Ohio Street between Wabash and State.
For guests who will be driving to the wedding, there is a public parking garage located at 20 West Ohio Street, one block west of the Ivy Room. We suggest guests reserve a spot online (http://www.ooparking.com/) for a reduced rate, available 30 days out. Please note that Ohio is an east bound one-way street. Enter garage on the left, look for blue/orange signs.
The fireworks are set off from Navy Pier beginning at 9:30 pm, but Navy Pier itself will be very congested. Guests staying at the Ambassador might consider walking a few blocks to the lake toward Oak Street Beach to catch some of the display.
