Kayla Wherry

Maid of Honor

Kayla's the sister that's been my sister for the longest, and I can't remember life without her. We were roomies for a couple years growing up and we got to be roomies again when she came to Florida State. Kay has a silly heart full of kindness and dry humor, and my life is so much fuller because I get to be her big sister. Kayla Grace and I have been sisters and friends for as long as I can remember, and it makes me so happy to have her by my side as I get married.

Mike Hall

Best Man

As most people can attest to, moving to a new city as a child is always a bit jarring. However, I was fortunate to have met a group of amazing and life-long friends in Hillsboro, Oregon. Although it may be difficult to discern between them all, I consider Mike my best friend. He is primarily who I spent the most time with since his parents lived just a few houses down. We have been through thick and thin together, from lacrosse, snowboarding/shoeing, running, and everything in between. I attribute a lot of my outlook and personality due to the experiences we had together. Without a doubt, I could not proceed with this event without Mike by my side.

Dana Wherry

Bridesmaid

Dana's been my sister the second longest, but my love for her is number one! Dana is my spunkiest sister and always puts a smile on my face, plus she shares my love for long chats on the phone. Dana is my most honest sister, which is why I'm excited to have her standing next to me on my wedding day, because she'll make sure I'm looking gooooood (hopefully).

Rodney Green

Groomsman

Rodney is another friend in the group I met in middle school. Actually, he introduced me to lacrosse, which shaped much of my interests and habits today! Despite his incredible work ethic, Rod is always down to relax and have some fun. If you aren't, it doesn't matter because you will. Rod is a constant source of inspiration and support for me, and I am lucky to have him here by my side.

McKenna Wherry

Bridesmaid

Mckenna has been my sister the third longest, BUT my love for her is also numba one!! Mackie is my sassiest sister, and she's always ready for an adventure which is why Mackie is one of my favorite beach buddies. So steamin' excited that you love me now and that I get to have you standing next to me as I get married.

Israel Campuzano

Groomsman

The Campuzanos are often considered another pair of brothers. Constantly there getting their hands dirty with us whether it is peeling out on piles of leaves or whipping around on tubes tied to the hitch of our truck, just having a good time. As such, Izzy is representing both of them since I had to cut Hannah off somewhere. Izzy always loved making the trip down to Corvallis in support of Beavers football, and although the winning wasn't prolific, the adventures and shenanigans were.

Kate Wherry

Bridesmaid

Kate is my mini me, and my little buddy for life. One of my favorite fun facts about Kate is that she thought she was a puppy for her entire fifth year of life. As she's grown up, she's become my friend as we like to bake and watch Marvel movies together. Kate has also always gone above and beyond to make Salvador feel welcome in our family, which has always meant a lot to me. So excited to have her standing up there with Salvador and I when we get married.

Giancarlo Condello

Groomsman

Giancarlo, or JC, is one of two outliers in this group of childhood friends. However, despite the shorter amount of time I have known him, does not impact our brotherhood. I consider Gianca as another fratello. His family was so kind to host me in Italy several times. They are partially responsible for my ability to semi-competently speak a third language. Potentially travelling from Taiwan, having Giancarlo there will be incredible!

Hannah Webster

Bridesmaid

I met Hannah Webster at freshman orientation at FSU as we were in the same orientations group and ended up attending most of the same interest groups! We ended up bonding over all the random things we have in common, and have been best friend ever since. I love Hannah's genuine heart, and I feel so lucky to call her my friend.

Matt Mckinney

Groomsman

Matt and I were good friends from the moment we met. Started on the lacrosse field as good sporting rivals, and continued throughout our college years. I could not be more thankful that Matt and I both attended Oregon State. Matt is such an astonishing friend, whether you are in the right or wrong, he is always there to support. I look forward to having him by my side, likely jabbering, but encouraging on this special day.

Savannah Overheim

Bridesmaid

I've grown up knowing Savannah since grade school, and we've been forever friends ever since. We played soccer together and were known as the "dynamic duo" due to our affinity for playing well together. We've kept in touch despite going to different high school and college, and adventuring to new cities in our adult lives. Love love love this sweet friend.

Vincent Jaime

Groomsman

Vinny is my older brother, and an incredibly talented musician. If it weren't for the fact that I needed him up with us during the ceremony, eating and drinking with us on the bridal party table, or showing off his dance moves, I would have had him as the entertainment. Words cannot express the awe-inspiring talent he possesses. Aside from that, I have always looked up to my older brother. Through everything, he is one of the naturally brightest guys I know. Although he tends to fly by emotional flares, as such the beauty of an artist. Thank you for being with me for this day.

Sarah Hirschman

Bridesmaid

I met Sarah in physical therapy school, and we became fast friends when I discovered she ALSO has a passion for chocolate chip cookies, ice cream, and M&Ms. She makes long days spent at school bearable, and is my favorite friend to take adventure study breaks with. So lucky grad school brought me this thoughtful friend with a heart of gold!

Kevin Nguyen

Groomsman

Kevin is, without a doubt, my funniest friend. No one comes close. This is the honor I bestow upon him. Another childhood friend, we met primarily because of our NFL interests. Always even-keeled and incredibly helpful, Kevin is always there when you need anything. Along with our mutual friend Barb, Kevin and I had some incredible adventures in Corvallis, and will continue to have adventures through our lifetime.

Jenna Adams

Bridesmaid

I've know Jenna since we were in middle school, but we didn't become good friends until we connected at Florida State. While in college we ended up becoming roomies for two back to back years, and it was filled with baked goods, dance parties, and peeing in each other's bathrooms. Jenna exudes the most joyful kindness, and I'm so lucky to have found the gal as a friend.

George Jaime

Groomsman

The baby of the family, George (whom we call Coqui) has been a point of adoration for me. Everything I do I want to make sure that Coqui gets some benefit from. I love him like any older sibling would love their younger one. I have been so incredibly lucky to convince Coqui to leave Portland and move to Wisconsin with me. Although I know he will eventually move back, having him here with me for the time I have had has healed me in more ways than one. I could not be more thankful to have him with me here.

Heather Lyons

Bridesmaid

I met Heather through Phi Mu at Florida State when she became my little. She was initially overwhelmed at how much I wanted to get to know her and be her friend, but she since then we have become amazing friends. Heather has the sweetest heart, and she's someone I always know I can pick up the phone and talk about literally anything with her. Plus she's from New Smyrna Beach, FL which meant she was destined to be a lifelong pal as this little beach town has so much sentimental value to my family.

Brian Dao

Groomsman

Brian is the friend who I have known the longest! I met him in elementary school, and we have continued to have a strong bond, despite him being the only one to choose University of Oregon. Alas, despite his terrible decision, our bond will always remain strong. The manner in which he lives his life is absolutely amazing. Minimal living and environmentally conscious. Such an inspiration to how I try and live my own. I look forward to having you with me Bdao!

Sam Ellison

Officiant

Last, but certainly not least, is Sam. Ever the logical friend, Sam is the reason I left Oregon in the first place. When I found out about the program in Wisconsin, I told Sam and of course he responded with doubt. After betting me I would not go, sure enough I applied, was accepted, and he had to drive there with me. 30 long hours later, little did I know there was no going back to my old life and thus I began my journey on a vastly different path. And all of this I thank Sam for. Would I have left the comforts I had in Oregon without Sam's "encouragement"? No one will ever know. But I choose to think that Sam, my friends, and my brothers all had a significant part to play. No one is better fit to officiate this union.
