We are requiring all our guests to be fully vaccinated to join us for our special day. In addition we are hosting our ceremony and reception outdoors, which reduces the risk. Fingers crossed by 09/17/2022 we can worry a little less and party a little more!
Yes! The vaccines remain the most effective tool against the spread of Covid-19, and serious illness associated with the virus, and they are completely safe. If you cannot get fully vaccinated before our wedding date for whatever reason, please send your well wishes from home. We wish there wasn't a pandemic either but we want to party as hard, but as safely, as possible.
We are getting married in a naturally beautiful, and heavily wooded setting. So there is NO wifi and poor cell phone reception. So please plan accordingly - we recommend downloading any media or speeches directly on to your phone and taking screen shots of directions to get back home/your hotel at the end of the night.
If you have food allergies/dietary restrictions please let us know so we can coordinate with our caterers and make sure you don't go hungry! Along with your invitation and RSVP cards, we have included a food allergy card. If you have any allergies or restrictions, please fill out that card and mail it back to us with your RSVP. The wedding will be completely nut free, and there will be vegan/gluten free options available. We will also be sure to label foods with common allergens so you know if something is safe to eat or not.
Dress however will make you look and feel your best! This will be a more casual wedding, but still a wedding, so use your best judgement. Make sure whatever you wear doesn't restrict your sick dance moves! We recommend comfy shoes - a flat or a wedge is best so you don't get stuck in the grass!
While both the ceremony and reception will be held entirely outdoors, a little rain isn't going to stop us from getting married and partying with you! To keep us dry, the reception will have a large tented area. But it might be a good idea to bring an umbrella in case of rain, and a jacket in case it gets chilly later on.
While we love kids, we are keeping this an adults only event. We hope you can get a babysitter and enjoy a night off, but if you can't we understand if you need to stay home with your kiddos.
YES! Whatever gets you on that dance floor, shakin' your groove thang! But remember, the wifi situation for our outdoor wedding is going to be slim to none, so you should make your requests ahead of time. How you say? Well, included with your invitations and RSVP cards there is a song request card. Mail that back with your RSVP cards, and we will make sure the DJ gets your song request and has it ready to go for the big day.
Yes! We have blocked rooms for our guests at 3 different hotels. You can check out our travel page to learn more. Wherever you decide to stay we recommend booking your rooms as soon as possible. Autumn is peak tourism season in the Finger Lakes and rooms will book quickly for the weekend of our wedding!
Yes! We have booked a shuttle bus service through First Student Charter Bus. Pick Up and Drop Off will be in Victor, NY - about a half an hour away from the venue. If you indicated in your RSVP that you wanted to use our shuttle service, we will reach out to you individually with all the information about pick up and drop off locations and times.
