The welcome BBQ will be hosted beachfront at the lodge. Please wear your finest western regalia! There will be games and a grill. BBQ will begin ~ 6PM. If you are unable to catch the earlier ferries to the coast (morning or noon), you'll likely miss the BBQ. Please let us know accordingly! Shuttles will depart from the West Coast Wilderness Lodge, starting just before 5:30 PM, and run until 6:00 PM. It is a very short shuttle (2 minutes) but available for people who would rather not walk down the hill. Alternatively you can walk down the hill by taking the route off the main road (if coming from the backeddy) or the forest path behind Lodge 4 (if coming from the WCWL)

All are welcome (regardless of whether you’re staying offsite) to the lodge for a buffet breakfast, on us. Service will end at 10AM sharp to begin set up for the reception. If you are interested in hiking to the Skookumchuk Narrows. The waves will reach their largest size at 9:15 AM. The best place to view the tides will be from Roland Point, which is a ~1-hour hike/walk. To see the show in all its glory, make sure you take advantage of breakfast early and be on the trail by 8:15 AM. Realistically, breakfast will be over if you try to catch it after the fact.

The ceremony will begin at 3:30 PM! The ceremony will be held either on the deck or on the covered wisteria deck, weather permitting. The website will be updated accordingly! Please arrive a bit early (~3:15) to find your seats. Lots of appetisers will be served after the ceremony (after 4:00 PM), and a buffet-style dinner will be provided.
