Question

Will food be served at the Welcome Party?

Answer

There will NOT be food served at the welcome party. We strongly encourage everyone to take advantage of the all-inclusive amenities and make a dinner reservation prior to the welcome party. If you are arriving later on Friday afternoon/evening and will not have time for a dinner reservation, we highly suggest going to Vela Sur for their buffet dinner. Bonus: you'll be right next to the Welcome Party for when it begins! Additional information in the Dining FAQ below.

Question

What are your dining recommendations?

Answer

Dinner: As soon as you check in to the resort, we recommend making a dinner reservation with the concierge at one of the four restaurants on site (Maxal [Mexican], Noriku [Asian], Auma [Steak House], La Luce [Italian]) for every night of your stay (except Sunday night of course). We have been informed that dinner reservations can be made for group sizes up to 10. While you are welcome to ask the concierge to group tables reservations next to each other or make a special reservation for a larger group, there are no guarantees. You can also have a buffet style dinner at Vela Sur, if preferred, or if you are arriving to the hotel later in the evening. Vela Sur has an extensive selection of delicious international and Mexican cuisine. Breakfast: Breakfast requires no reservations and can be had at either Vela Norte or Vela Sur, or you can grab coffee and a quick snack at the Azulinda Cafe. Lunch: Lunch also requires no reservations and can be had at Vela Sur or any of the bars/cafes on site. We will likely be ordering our lunch from the pool bar and eating by the beach/pool. Reminder: this is an all-inclusive resort so all meals and drinks are included! (Except some specialty items at the dinner restaurants). Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by October 1st!

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

While we love your kiddos, the wedding is adults only. However, you are more than welcome to bring your kids to the Hilton Tulum resort, which offers supervised activities at the Kids Club & Teen Club that you can take advantage of while you attend the wedding (Sunday the 19th). The resort has many amenities for teens and kids; more information about the Family Zone can be found here: https://www.hilton.com/en/hotels/cunhihh-hilton-tulum-riviera-maya-all-inclusive-resort/things-to-do/

Question

Can you help me find someone to split an airport shuttle with?

Answer

Sure! Please see the Travel section of the website for additional information. As attendees start to book their flights and inform us of the details, we will try to group folks together for private transportation reservations.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotel to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! More details to come.

Question

I'd like to extend my stay in Mexico before/after the wedding weekend. What do you recommend?

Answer

While the hotel room block extends 3 days pre/post-wedding weekend, if you are looking to significantly extend your vacation and explore other beaches, restaurants, and clubs, we would recommend staying in and exploring the towns of Tulum, Playa del Carmen, or Cancun.
