Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than the 14th of February 2026.

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

RSVPs will open up on this website once invites are sent out. Please make sure to refer back here to RSVP by Feb 14th 2026.

Question

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

Your presence will be greatly missed! If you are unable to attend, kindly inform us at your earliest convenience so that we can make the necessary adjustments.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Come dressed in your best garden formal attire. Please note that the venue is outdoors on a grassed area the overlooks the ocean. It may be warm on arrival, however, is known cool off as the night goes on. A few tips to keep in mind: Footwear: We highly recommend flats, block heels, or wedges to avoid sinking into the grass at the venue. Stilettos and pointy heels are discouraged—they’re no match for the natural terrain!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Because of limited venue space, we unfortunately can't accommodate plus-ones beyond those named on the wedding invitation. We hope you understand our decision.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We kindly ask that this be an adult-only celebration. It's time to let your hair down and put your dancing shoes on... For those in need of a baby sitter, we highly recommend www.sayulitababysitting.com.

Question

Do I need transportation to the venue?

Answer

Depending on how far from the venue you’re staying, you may want to arrange a taxi or drive a hired golf cart to get there. If you have rented a golf cart for your stay in Sayulita, there is parking available.

Question

After Party?

Answer

The celebration doesn’t end after the wedding! We’ll be heading into town to keep the party going for those who want to join. Feel free to change into something more casual before heading out. We may end up on the beach so dress accordingly.

Question

Do I need to attend all events?

Answer

We would love to see you all the scheduled events but understand that people might be traveling on alternate schedules or want to do other activities. Please let us know which events you’d like to attend when you RSVP.

Question

Do I need a rental car?

Answer

We’d recommend against hiring a rental car unless you’re hoping to venture to surrounding areas as parking is difficult in Sayulita. Hiring a shuttle service or grabbing an Uber from the airport are the best options to get to the town. Once in Sayulita, the main mode of transport is by golf cart or on foot.

Question

Do I need to rent a golf cart?

Answer

While it’s not necessary, it can be a fun way to get around town. Sayulita is home to some steeper hills and cobblestones streets, so golf carts could make life a little easier. Golf carts are about $60/day and there are many places to rent from in town.

Question

Do I need cash for this trip?

Answer

Bring pesos! The town is mostly cash based, although a few restaurants take Visa & Mastercard. We recommend pulling out cash as you exit the arrivals terminal in PVR (just decline the offered exchange rate as it is often terrible. It will still exchange your currency at the current market rate).

Question

Do I have to tip in Mexico?

Answer

Tips are generally expected for good service (15-18%), and cash is often preferred, even at places that accept cards.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Expect sunshine! Sayulita boasts over 340 days of sun a year. The average temperature in April for a typical day ranges from a high of 82°F (28°C) to a low of 71°F (22°C) with humidity averaging 60%. We recommend bringing a few light layers for the evenings but otherwise dress for warm weather.

Question

Is it safe to drink the water in Sayulita?

Answer

No, just like the rest of Mexico, the tap water is not drinkable so please avoid. We also recommend brushing your teeth with filtered water. Many villas and hotels offer filtered water and it’s readily available to buy around town. It’s standard practice for restaurants and bars to use filtered water and ice, so sip your margs on the rocks!

Question

How can I minimize the risk of getting sick?

Answer

While Sayulita is one of the cleaner towns in the area (the community funds pressure washing the streets with chlorinated water to reduce illness), we recommend that you practice good hygiene often. Wash your hands often and use sanitizer, especially before you eat. If you have a more sensitive gut, taking a probiotic daily the 2 weeks prior to arrival and throughout your stay can help to minimize disturbance. The strain Saccharomyces boulardii is the most beneficial. Sally recommends Florastor (available on Amazon).

Question

Where can I find more information on Sayulita?

Answer

We highly recommend spending some time on the website www.SayulitaLife.com that is a complete guide on where to stay, eat, drink and explore. Many blogs have also featured the town and can be searched on google.
