FAQs

Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

Attire: Formal / Black-Tie Optional. Women please wear floor-length dresses; men may wear a suit or tuxedo. We ask that women avoid the colors black or white, as these colors are reserved for those walking down the aisle. If you have any questions about your outfit, please reach out!

Question

Who is invited?

Answer

We kindly ask that only those named on the invitation attend. We would love to include everyone, but our venue has a strict guest limit.

Question

Do I have to take the shuttle?

Answer

Yes. Our venue sits high above the Smoky Mountains. The views are stunning, but the road can be challenging to navigate. For everyone’s safety, the venue has a strict no–personal vehicle policy. Think of it as your chance to fully relax! We'll handle your transportation and make sure you get there and back safely so you can enjoy the day with us!

Question

What is the Horah?

Answer

Jewish weddings include lots of joyful traditions, and one of our favorites is The Horah! This is a lively circle dance where guests hold hands and dance together. At some point, we will be lifted up in chairs by our guests, so please bring your upper body strength. No experience is needed! Just jump in, follow along, and have fun. It is one of the best parts of the night. If you are curious, here is a link that shares a bit of the history and includes instructional videos on how to perform the dance: https://www.theknot.com/content/hora-dance
