A local Seattle burger chain that started in the 1950's with multiple locations all over the city. Capital Hill (115 Broadway E, Seattle, WA 98102) is the most infamous location since it still is a true drive-in and was featured in music videos such as Macklemore's "Downtown". This is a local chain where you cannot customize your burger, but they have decent burgers, great shakes, and is cheap. Note: this is the Queen Anne location which is set up less like a traditional drive-in.

There are a ton of great hikes within an hour and a half outside of the city limits to do as a day trip. You will need a car to access these hikes as well as a Discover or Northwest Forest Pass. Please check AllTrails.com for the trail length, difficulty and what pass is needed to purchase to hang in your car. If you are not a hiker, we recommend to stick a trail that is under 3 miles there and back, with a difficulty level of Easy. We recommend to stop by a Big 5 Sporting Goods before you get out of town to buy the pass you need. Some trails have a cash system to purchase a pass, but with COVID some have changed to digital or physical passes only and cell service at some trails is not always great. A few trails we recommend are: -Franklin Falls -Snoqualmie Falls -Twin Falls -Wallace Falls -Poo Poo Point -Rattlesnake Ledge -Heybrook Lookout -Gold Creek Pond -Talapus Lake (can push to Olallie for 6 miles)
