Mount Rainier National Park
Mount Rainier is where Jeff proposed to Lauren in June of 2024 (specifically at Reflection Lake). If you come to Washington, you have to hike Mount Rainier. "The Mountain is Out!" You can purchase a day-pass for the park once you arrive to Mount Rainier National Park. We recommend driving there using the Paradise Corridor.
Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium
Point Defiance is a special place for us where we take Maggie for some nice walks with a great view of Mount Rainier. Check out the Zoo and Aquarium all in one place!
Chambers Bay Golf Course
This park is much more than just a golf course! There are tons of paths and trails to walk, a beach, a playground, a restaurant, and beautiful views.
Point Ruston
This area of Tacoma has beautiful views of the Puget Sound, Mount Rainier, the Olympic Mountains, and the Cascade Range. You can walk along Dune Peninsula and spot seals in the water, then head into town and check out the Market and many shops and restaurants.
