Is there a dress code?
Answer
There is no specific dress code, but if you're unsure of what to wear, we would recommend something in the realm of 'Dressy Casual' or 'Cocktail Attire'. Really whatever you're most comfortable in is most important to us!

Where can I park?
Answer
There is plenty of free parking along the dyke at the UBC Boathouse, on either side of the road. We have been assured that the 3 hour parking signs do not apply for our event, so don't worry about them! However, please don't park in the adjacent business parking lots or on the dyke.

How can I get to the Reception?
Answer
The Ceremony, Cocktail Hour & Reception are all just steps apart for your convenience. Although we might be at different places around the venue, the furthest you'll have to commute is just up a flight of stairs (or an elevator if you need). To get to the UBC Boathouse in the first place, we'd recommend driving if you can (especially carpooling!), but if not, then the venue is around a 10 minute walk from the Aberdeen Canada Line station.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The ceremony will be outside if it's a nice day, BUT if it's raining it will be inside. Feel free to bring along sunglasses or anything else fitting for the weather, but we will make sure you don't get poured on.

I have dietary restrictions, will there food that I can eat?
Answer
Yes of course! Although some of the main courses for dinner will involve meat, and the main dessert will include dairy, we'll make sure that there is something for everyone! If you have a restriction you're particularly worried about, please reach out to let us know & we'll make sure you're covered.
Question
Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
As much as we'd love to have everyone at our wedding, we unfortunately cannot accommodate plus-ones beyond those named on the wedding invitation. Thank you for your understanding.

Is there anything I need to bring with me?
Answer
Just bring yourself, the bar is open, the food will be aplenty, and overall we would just love for you to kick back, relax, and have a good time.
