Nearly 8 years ago, Saiyara and Adeed were seated at the same table at a wedding in West Virginia, where there were instant sparks between them. But, with both still in college in different parts of the country, it was nearly impossible for them to keep in touch. A few years later, Saiyara was visiting her friend in San Francisco for her senior spring break and decided to reconnect with Adeed, who was working there at the time. Although it was only their 2nd time meeting in person, the sparks flew once again, as they talked for hours over sushi and ramen with surprisingly no awkwardness at all! One year later, Saiyara convinced Adeed to move to NYC after she landed her first job post college, and the rest is history! On July 16, 2021, in the city where they shared so many precious memories, Adeed proposed to Saiyara at Brooklyn Bridge Park!
