GOLF CARTING AROUND PEACHTREE CITY Peachtree City is known as the “Golf Cart Capital of the World,” with more than 100 miles of scenic golf cart paths winding through town. You can ride through wooded areas, around lakes, and across charming bridges and tunnels. If you have time to explore, take a cart ride over to Line Creek Nature Preserve for a peaceful walk or head to The Avenue Peachtree City for shopping, coffee, or lunch. Spending a little time cruising the golf cart paths is one of our favorite ways to show guests around when they’re visiting!
TRILITH STUDIOS Trilith Studios is one of the largest film and television production studios in the United States and the largest outside of California. Originally known as Pinewood Atlanta Studios, the 700-acre complex has been the filming location for many major movies and television shows—especially blockbuster films from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, including Black Panther, Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame, and Spider-Man: No Way Home. Across from the studio is the Town at Trilith, a walkable European-inspired community filled with restaurants, cafés, shops, and green spaces. Visitors can stroll the streets, grab a meal, catch a movie at the cinema, or simply enjoy the lively atmosphere of a town built around the creative world of filmmaking. For movie lovers, Trilith offers a unique chance to be near the place where some of the biggest films of the past decade were created—making it a fun stop for exploring, dining, and soaking in a little Hollywood-in-Georgia magic.
LOCAL FARMS & U-PICK EXPERIENCES Since you’re visiting during late spring, you may enjoy one of Georgia’s sweetest traditions—picking fresh fruit right from the farm! Several farms near the area offer seasonal U-Pick strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, and peaches. It’s a fun way to spend a relaxed morning in the countryside. 🍓🍑 • Sweet Berry Orchard – Located right in Hogansville  • Mathews’ Farm – Another local Hogansville farm • The Grange U‑Pick Farm – Located just outside Hogansville in LaGrange • Champion U‑Pick Blueberries – A nearby farm in Pine Mountain And our personal favorite (with the best soft serve ice cream in the world!) • Dickey Farms – One of Georgia’s oldest peach farms
VISIT SENOIA The historic town of Senoia is full of charm with a beautiful walkable downtown square. It’s known as a filming location for the TV show The Walking Dead, but even if you’ve never watched the show, it’s a wonderful place to spend an afternoon. Browse the unique shops, grab an ice cream, or enjoy dinner at one of the local restaurants around the square.
STROLL THROUGH DOWNTOWN NEWNAN Newnan has one of the prettiest historic courthouse squares in Georgia. The downtown area is full of antique stores, boutiques, coffee shops, and local restaurants. It’s a great place to wander around, grab lunch, and enjoy the small-town charm.
EXPLORE THE NORTH GEORGIA MOUNTAINS If you have an extra day or want to turn your trip into a little getaway, the beautiful North Georgia Mountains are just a few hours north and well worth the drive. The area is known for its scenic mountain views, charming small towns, waterfalls, hiking trails, and cozy restaurants. Popular mountain towns like Helen (Our Favorite!!), Blue Ridge, and Dahlonega are perfect for a day trip or overnight stay. You can explore local shops, enjoy beautiful drives through the mountains, visit wineries, or hike to one of the many waterfalls in the area. If you have the time, it’s one of the most beautiful parts of Georgia and a wonderful place to explore while you’re in the state!
SHOPS AT ASHLEY PARK If you have some extra time in the area, we recommend visiting Ashley Park in Newnan. It’s a beautiful outdoor shopping area with plenty of shops, restaurants, and fun dessert spots to explore. You’ll find everything from bookstores and a unique toy store to cute boutiques, a movie theater, and even a candy shop—making it a great place to spend a relaxed afternoon. Whether you’re grabbing a good meal, treating yourself to something sweet, or doing a little shopping, it’s a fun and easy way to enjoy the area before or after the wedding.
