FAQs

Question

Bloomington is in Eastern Time!

Answer

If you are driving from Chicago (or anywhere West of Indiana), be aware that Indiana is in Eastern Time and you will lose an hour driving here.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Formal/cocktail attire! This means jacket and tie for men, and a nice cocktail dress (knee length or midi dress) for women. Please keep in mind the wedding will take place in a church!

Question

What if I have children under 2?

Answer

Your children under 2 are invited! We would love to celebrate with your family! Unfortunately our venue does not have seating accommodations for children, so please plan to have kids in your lap, or in a carseat. There are changing stations in the bathroom. There will not be food provided beside the normal dinner.

Question

What if I've never been to a Catholic wedding?

Answer

If you've never been to a Catholic mass, that's ok! We will have programs to help you follow along. Anyone can attend, and we want you to come be a part of it! If you are not a practicing Catholic, during communion you may remain in your pew, or come to the front with your arms crossed over your chest to receive a blessing. Whichever is more comfortable for you!

Question

Will there be accommodations for dietary restrictions?

Answer

When you RSVP it should ask you for your dietary restrictions! Food will be buffet style, but we will try to accommodate your marked restrictions!

Question

Will transportation be provided after the reception?

Answer

We do not have a shuttle/bus planned after the reception. Plan to drive yourself to and from the venue. There should be plenty of parking.
