Our wedding is formal, meaning suits, formal jumpsuits, sophisticated cocktail dresses, or formal gowns. All portions of our wedding will be outdoors, so if you've been eyeing that velvet dress, this might be the best occasion to finally wear it! Our ceremony will be on a grass lawn and the reception will be on a wooden deck. If you do not want to wear heels, then wedges or formal flats are certainly welcomed.
Currently, the weather in Angelus Oaks, CA is projected to be between 60-65 degrees with a low of 40. We will have heating lamps and blankets, but we also recommend you bring a good coat, scarf, shawl, etc.
When you turn onto Rainbow Lane off of Highway 38, continue onto the dirt road and go straight under the Cienaga Creek Ranch sign. Stay to the left at the fork in the road. You will come up to the sign for the Main house, and at the second fork in the road, go right which will take you up the hill to the wedding venue drop-off area. You can drop off anyone riding with you. The parking attendants will direct you where to go from there. If you park in the lower parking lot, Utility Vehicles are available to give you a ride to the wedding venue entrance. Please note: Cars that arrive after the wedding ceremony has started will be stopped at the bottom of the driveway and asked to park in the lower parking lot. The Utility Vehicles will not be running during the ceremony, so you will have the option to quietly walk up to the wedding venue entrance or wait until the ceremony ends to get a ride from the lower parking lot.
We’ll have appetizers available during cocktail hour, followed by a delicious dinner, and of course dessert. For drinks, we will have lemonade, iced tea, water, and soda available as guests arrive. Then beginning at cocktail hour, we'll have beer, wine, champagne, and our signature cocktails available at the bar. Later in the evening, we will have coffee, tea, and hot chocolate available at the dessert table. Please note that you will also feel the effects of alcohol more quickly at our venue's high altitude.
We will have an all-vegetarian buffet with vegetable ragu penne pasta, alfredo lasagna, smoked brussel sprouts, sautéed mushrooms and asparagus, Italian salad with balsamic vinaigrette, and dinner rolls/garlic bread. On your RSVP, please indicate if you have any dietary needs or restrictions so we can share them with our chef.
