How We Met

Everything happens exactly when it's supposed to.

The most amazing part of how we met is that we somehow didn't meet sooner. We grew up on the same side of town (wess_SIIIIIDE), our middle school soccer teams were rivals, we went to the same high school but had no classes together, went to the same Planet Fitness after high school but never at the same time, and had quite a few mutual friends and acquaintances. Fate finally intervened on a beautiful sunny Saturday in the Fall of 2018 when, by complete chance, we both ended up at the North Market with some of those mutual friends to introduce us. Thanks, Paige and Kyle :)

The Date

Is it a bad idea to get married on a date that's haunted? -Sage's POV

October is an important month for us. It's the month we started dating, has the best holiday of the year (Halloween, duh), and mother nature is at its most beautiful. As I was looking at the Saturday's in October of 2025, one stuck out to me: October 4th. When I was a kid, I had night terrors. Then, I watched the movie Thirteen Ghosts and developed an intense fear of ghosts. Naturally I had many night terrors about ghosts, however one summer before my sophomore year of high school I had a pretty gnarly one, and it ended with a ghost screaming "October Fourth" over and over in my face until I woke up having a panic attack. For years after on October 4th I chose not to leave my house...just in case, y'know? I eventually grew out of that, but I feel like the Universe is throwing me a bone. I will absolutely, NEVER forget our anniversary. :)

The Roast

"Wait, y'all are doing WHAT instead of a wedding?!"

"Traditional" weddings just ain't our vibe. So, what CAN two of the funniest people on the planet do to celebrate new options for filing their taxes? Come ready to laugh and have a good time as we give a microphone to some of our nearest and dearest to tell fun stories and crack some jokes at our expense for a change. You'll probably learn some fun things about us, and some things you'll wish you could unhear (sorry, moms <3).
