Passports

Make sure your passport is up to date! Don't forget about the six month rule. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the date you expect to travel. Please make sure to allow for ample time as they are delayed in processing.

Flight

Cartagena Airport: Rafael Núñez International Airport

There are direct flights to Cartagena depending on where you are flying from. However, most flights will likely require a connection. We have flown Copa Airlines from IAD connecting through Panama and it was a great experience. Avianca, Delta, and many major airlines offer competitive flights as well. Whatever you do, we recommend you avoid a connection in Fort Lauderdale (FLL) as those flights regularly get delayed and canceled.
