Since this is not a typical wedding weekend, there is no pressure to stay in a specific, "wedding-centric" hotel. We are hosting festivities in a few locations around the city, so please feel free to choose the type of accommodation that works best for you based on how long you are staying and how you and your family want to spend your downtime.
Regardless, we don't want the logistics of the trip to be stressful, so we do have some suggestions. See below for discounted links to hotels in the downtown Minneapolis area, which will be central for all the festivities. Nothing will be more than a 15 minute ride (and you could walk to the ceremony if you wanted)!

Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport
This has to be one the most pleasant international airports around...and it's only 15 minutes from our house or 20 minutes from downtown. It's very easy to take the light rail right from the airport to several locations downtown. It's also a very quick lightrail ride from the airport to the Mall of America in case you've never been!
