Local Events - Founder's Day Festival

Only after selecting our wedding date did we discover that the annual Founder's Day Festival would be occurring that same week. Please note that the festival might cause some streets to close, particularly Mercer Street in downtown Dripping. While it may make traffic and parking a bit more complicated, we hope that you'll also have time to enjoy some local food & music!

We ask that all attendees are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in order to attend, except those who are too young to be vaccinated.

We made a list of several places to stay in the Dripping Springs area. Most are very close to both the wedding and reception venues but all require cars to reach these destinations. Unfortunately, as Dripping Springs is a rather small town it can be difficult to get Lyft or Uber so please be aware of that.
