Hotel
A select number of rooms have been reserved at Allerton's on-site lodging for the wedding party and some guests. If your invitation indicates a room has been placed on hold for you, there is no need to call Allerton to confirm the booking. But please let Sadie and Andy know if your lodging plans change.
Hotel
We've reserved a block of rooms. Just say you're with the Hammond-Gennis wedding! Lodging is limited, so we strongly encourage you to book well in advance.
Shuttle
September 28, 2019 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm
For guests staying at the Best Western, a shuttle will run between the hotel and Allerton at 3:00 p.m. and 3:45 p.m. It's a 20 minute drive to the venue, so keep that in mind when planning your day. Shuttles from the venue back to the Best Western will run at 10:00 p.m. and when the party wraps up at 11:00 p.m.
Travel Note
Although Lyfts and Ubers operate regularly in Champaign-Urbana, the far more rural Monticello doesn't offer up much in the way of car services. Because of this, we highly recommend renting a car or setting up any necessary transportation to and from Allerton in advance.
Flight
If you’re looking to fly into the area and then take public transit to Monticello, this would be the best choice. Once you arrive at O’Hare, you can take a train or a bus to Monticello, with both options easily accessible from the airport. You could also rent a car, which would be a two-and-a-half hour drive to the venue.
Flight
If you’re planning on flying in and renting a car, this is probably the best option. It’s a simple two-and-a-half hour drive from the Indianapolis airport to Allerton, and it will save you from dealing with any Chicago traffic.
Flight
Flying into Willard will get you the closest to the venue, but it's still a 30-minute drive from the airport to Allerton. Overall, this option will still save you time, but will likely cost a bit more than flying into O'Hare or Indianapolis.
