When should I RSVP by?

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As much as we love all the children and infants in our lives, we have decided to keep the ceremony and reception to guests ages 13 and up.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Anything from cocktail attire, formal attire or black tie is welcome. Given that you will need to walk across lawns, we do recommend you plan your footwear accordingly.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There's a parking lot outside the Allerton Mansion. It's a short walk from there to the ceremony at the Sunken Garden.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4:30 p.m., so we recommend arriving by 4:10 p.m.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Of course! There's a space to fill out any dietary needs when you RSVP.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes, we have a block of rooms booked at a nearby hotel (more information can be found under the "Travel" page). Given that it is homecoming weekend for the University of Illinois, we recommend reserving rooms as soon as possible.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?
