Question
Will the wedding be inside or outside?
Answer
November in New Hampshire is always tricky...there could be snow on the ground or it could be 70 degrees. We assume it will be chilly, so we are planning for the ceremony and reception to take place indoors. That said, the cocktail hour may have an outside portion (with heat lamps), and depending on temperature, the ceremony could shift to being outside (although we highly doubt it). So please make sure to bring a jacket!

We recommend "cocktail" attire - but truly come in whatever makes you feel most fabulous. As mentioned above, depending on weather, the cocktail hour may be outside (and even the ceremony), so make sure to bring a coat just in case!

Can I bring my kids?
Answer
We hope this weekend will be an opportunity for you to let loose and enjoy a date night (or two or three), and leave the kiddos/baybays (cue Schitt's Creek Moria Rose voice) at home. That said, if that will be a barrier to you attending, please reach out to us. Ultimately, we want to make sure you can celebrate with us!

What is the easiest way to get to and from the wedding venue?
Answer
You can either drive, Uber, or take the Shuttle (note that the wedding venue is about a 20 minute drive from Portsmouth, NH). The Thompson Inn and Cyderhouse has 70 parking spots on-site, and will have greeters and parking attendants to assist you. Shuttle service: We will have a complementary shuttle service to transport people to and from the Wedding Ceremony, Reception, and After Party on November 23. Shuttles will depart from the Portsmouth hotels recommended on our Hotels page (Residence Inn and AC Hotel) at 3:30pm to the Wedding Ceremony. The shuttles will return at 10:00pm following the Reception and at 12:00am following the After Party. PLEASE NOTE: You do NOT have to be staying at the hotels to utilize the shuttle! Everyone is welcome to take the shuttle as long as you arrive at either the Residence Inn or AC Hotel at 3:30pm.

Will there be transportation for the other weekend events?
Answer
We will not be providing transportation to/from the Welcome Drinks on Friday, or to the Brunch on Sunday. The Welcome Drinks location is walkable (or a short car/Uber drive) from the Portsmouth hotels, and the Brunch venue (back at The Thompson Inn and Cyderhouse) is a quick Uber/car ride away!

What is the parking situation at Liars Bench Beer Co. on Friday night?
Answer
Liars Bench has its own parking lot. If this fills up, you are welcome to park next door at the bank, as it will be after hours.
