2:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Intend to wear something colorful and comfortable! This pre-wedding, women only celebration is when the bride has henna applied to her palms, back of hands, and feet. Tradition says the deeper the color of the bride's mehndi, the happier the bride and groom's marriage will be!
6:30 pm - 10:30 pm
Semi-Formal: Suits and cocktail dresses.
Replacing a traditional, Indian "Sangeet", this intimate event will be for immediate family, bridesmaids and groomsmen to meet, get to know each other, and share a few toasts about the bride and groom! Parking services will be available through MJ Valet.
9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Indian Garb or Conservative Comfort
Please intend to bring a bandana or a scarf to keep your head covered at all times inside the Temple - also keep in mind wearing white or black is inauspicious for the traditional ceremony. The event will begin with Brian's "Baraat", or the groom's parade, and will be followed by the Sikh ceremony, customs, and hymns that will unite Brian and Sachi in marriage!
Sat, Sep 3, 2022, 7:00 pm - Sun, Sep 4, 2022, 1:00 am
Black-Tie: Wear black floor-length gowns or formal cocktail dresses, tuxes with black neckties or bowties.
We will begin with a cocktail hour in the Chinese Ballroom before making our way to the Grand Ballroom for introductions, eating and dancing! Guests are encouraged to park in the neighboring PMI Garage on DeSales Street.
