We're getting married!

We met through my college roommate junior year and didn't think much of it. Fast forward to the night of our graduation, Brian and I bumped into each other downtown and it just clicked! We talked for a while, and I told him about my plans to move to New York and he told me about the Europe trip he had lined up before starting his job in North Carolina. That's pretty much when we thought to ourselves, "Wow I wish we had gotten to know each other sooner, I think there's something here."

Brian got down on one knee in one of our favorite places in Richmond, the VMFA. While I had slightly suspected Brian was up to something the week prior, I couldn't help but feel like the luckiest girl in the world (completely surprised) when I saw he had arranged our siblings and my best friends to come celebrate with us afterwards! It was truly a memorable day to be surrounded by our loved ones - and we are so grateful. I think all the planning gave Brian a few more grey hairs, but it paid off! We are so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in The District!
