Getting to Hood River
If you're flying in, we recommend renting a car to get from the airport to Hood River, which is about an hour drive east of Portland. There are very limited rideshare or public transportation options.
Shuttle
Wedding Day
July 4, 2025 3:00 pm
Starting at 3pm on July 4th, the day of the wedding, we will have a free shuttle running from White Salmon, WA to the Hood River waterfront area to the venue. And, starting at 3:30pm we will also have a free shuttle running from the west side of Hood River, where the West Cliff Lodge and Columbia Gorge Hotel & Spa are located, to downtown Hood River to the venue. We hope to have all guests at the venue by 4:30pm, and will wait to start the ceremony until all shuttles have arrived. The shuttles will run return trips from 9pm to 11pm. If you drive yourself and are unable to safely drive back to your lodgings, you can leave your car in the venue parking lot overnight and take the shuttle. Exact shuttle stop times and locations to come. If you choose to drive yourself, please consider carpooling with as many other guests as possible. If you are unsure who you can carpool with, please reach out to Sachi or Brendan for help coordinating.

Camping
There is dispersed camping without any facilities in Mt. Hood National Forest. There's also many first-come-first-serve (FCFS) campgrounds in the national forest as well as Hood River County. To ensure you have a place to camp in advance, you may want to book a nicer camping experience via Hipcamp. Please note that the complimentary shuttle on the day of the wedding may only go to a few designated hotels.
