Question
Will there be a remote option?
Answer
Yes! We totally understand that this is a big and expensive trip for many people. We're happy to have you join us in celebration near and far. We have a Zoom meeting set up, and plan to live stream the wedding ceremony there from 4:15pm PT to 5:15pm PT. Afterwards, Brendan and Sachi will hop on briefly to say hi to all our remote guests. You do not need a Zoom account to join the virtual ceremony; however, Zoom works best if you download the app to your phone or computer in advance. Details on how to join via Zoom have been emailed out. Please feel free to reach out to Sachi directly at sachi.c.kobayashi@gmail.com, if you have questions or need more information on the Zoom.

This is a family-friendly celebration, and we leave this up to your discretion and good judgement. If you do decide to bring your children, please ensure that they are supervised at all times. Additional childcare will not be provided.

What should I wear?
Answer
Dress for semi-formal, festive summertime vibes. Early July in Hood River should be lovely and dry with highs up to 90° F and lows down to 60° F.

How will the shuttle work?
Answer
Starting at 2:50pm on July 4th, the day of the wedding, we will have a free shuttle running from White Salmon, WA to downtown Hood River to the venue. And, starting at 3:00pm we will also have a free shuttle running from the west side of Hood River, where the Columbia Gorge Hotel & Spa are located, to downtown Hood River to the venue. We hope to have all guests at the venue by 4:30pm, and will wait to start the ceremony until all shuttles have arrived. The shuttles will run return trips from 9pm to 11pm. If you drive yourself and are unable to safely drive back to your lodgings, you can leave your car in the venue parking lot overnight and take the shuttle. If you choose to drive yourself, please consider carpooling with as many other guests as possible. If you are unsure who you can carpool with, please reach out to Sachi or Brendan for help coordinating. Can I just drive myself?
Answer
Yes, you are welcome to drive yourself. However, there's approximately 35 parking spots for over 100 guests, so please consider carpooling with as many other guests as possible. If you are unsure who you can carpool with, please reach out to Sachi or Brendan for help coordinating. Also, the road up to the venue is single-lane for wide vehicles. Please use caution, and do not park along side the road or block vendors' vehicles. If you drive yourself and are unable to safely drive back to your lodgings, you can leave your car in the venue parking lot overnight and take the shuttle.
