We’re getting married!!

We meet in Sacha’s first year of college and it was Shawn’s very last semester! We both ended up in Abnormal Psychology together and I sat it in front of him on the first day. The rest is pretty much history, besides the fact that we both unintentionally “ghosted” each other but that’s a story for another time. A year later we started dating and we’ve been inseparable ever since!

When Shawn proposed, he took Sacha on a weekend getaway trip to Breckenridge. We had an amazing time checking out downtown that Friday evening and had plans to do a horseback ride on Saturday morning. We had an amazing time riding horses through the mountains in Breckenridge (it was Shawn’s first time riding a horse too!). As soon as we were off our horses and walking back towards the car, he told Sacha he wanted to get some pictures of us with the mountains in the back (I was ecstatic that he mentioned to get pictures before I did!). Sacha had no idea what Shawn had coming and he proposed like it was out of a fairy tale. Horseback riding in the mountains and then proposing, of course She Said Yes!!
