1. Asheville Regional Airport (AVL) is about a 20 minute drive from downtown Asheville. Direct flights are available from Newark (EWR) via Allegiant Air and United Airlines and from LaGuardia (LGA) via Delta and American Airlines. 2. Greenville Spartanburg International Airport (GSP) is just over an hour drive from Asheville. 3. Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) is about a 2 hour drive from Asheville.
