We first met during a college orientation, where we both happened to volunteer to be leaders. It started with a few icebreakers and a back-to-back challenge that neither of us expected to remember, but somehow it became a moment we now laugh about. A semester later (April 1st, 2019) we started talking more and it slowly turned into a real friendship. Years later that friendship grew into more, and after a few awkward first dates, we finally realized there was something special between us. Since then, we've grown together, supported each other through every season, and even made long distance work for two years counting, something that has only made us stronger. Now, we can't wait to start this next chapter surrounded by the ones who have supported and cheered us on.

Jonathan planned my dream of a sunset beach proposal in the Dominican Republic, with the help of two very special people in my life. He told me we were going on a little “date” and everything seemed normal — until he excused himself to go to the "bathroom". A few minutes later, our waitress came over and told me we were being moved to a beachfront table. As we stepped outside, the music suddenly changed to “All of Me” by John Legend. There he was, standing in front of a glowing “Marry Me” sign on the sand. It was so beautiful, emotional, and nerve wrecking moments of my life.
