What is the dress code? | ¿Cual es el codigo de vestir?

Welcome Party Cocktail - Spring Chic Tour through Barranquilla We suggest wearing comfortable clothing as this is a walking tour and the weather is pretty hot. (Shorts + Tshirt/Tank + Hat) Paseo por Barranquilla Le sugerimos llevar ropa cómoda, ya que el clima es bastante caluroso. Wedding We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! Dress code is formal. We kindly encourage our favorite people to dress in suit and gowns (Floor-length: NO white or cream colors) . The ceremony and reception will be held indoors. Boda Para nuestro gran dia, nos encantaría ver a nuestra familia y amigos vestidos de saco y corbata y vestido largo (NO se permiten colores blanco ni crema).

Are children invited? | ¿Estan invitados los niños?

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! This way, you can fully enjoy the celebration and create wonderful memories with your partner! Adoramos a los niños, pero les pedimos amablemente que nos acompañen a la boda con su pareja. Así podrán disfrutar plenamente de la celebración y crear hermosos recuerdos.

Is Barranquilla safe? | ¿Barranquilla es seguro?

Absolutely! Just like anywhere else, there are spots you might want to avoid, but overall it's pretty safe. In Colombia, we say ‘No Dar Papaya,’ which means ‘don’t give the opportunity.’ So, if you're strolling around with flashy jewelry or your latest iPhone out, you might catch the eye of pickpockets. A little common sense helps a lot—just keep an eye on your stuff and try not to show it off too much. Sí! Como en todos los lugares del mundo, hay ciertas zonas a las que no debes ir. Pero en general es seguro. En Colombia tenemos un dicho 'No Dar Papaya'. Significa "no des la oportunidad". Si caminas con joyas elegantes y el último iPhone en la mano, te conviertes en blanco de robos. Un poco de sentido común ayuda mucho.

We unfortunately cannot accommodate additional guests. Due to limited capacity, we can only allow the maximum number of guests shown on your invitation. What if I can't make it? | ¿Que pasa si no puedo asistir a la boda?

Answer

We understand that attending a destination wedding can be challenging, and while we would love to celebrate with you, we totally understand if it's not feasible. Your presence will surely be missed. Please RSVP 'Will not attend.' If you previously RSVP'd 'Will Attend' but find that you cannot make it, please notify Sabrina and George as soon as possible. Entendemos que asistir a una boda de destino puede ser complicado, y aunque nos encantaría celebrar contigo, comprendemos totalmente si no es posible. Por favor, responde 'No asistiré.' Tu presencia sin duda será extrañada. Si anteriormente confirmaste 'Asistiré' pero ahora no puedes venir, por favor avisale a Sabrina y George lo antes posible.
