Corey and Sabrina met in law school, where they were in the same section: Section One. This meant that they spent every class and every day together. Still, it was a couple weeks before the two got up the nerve to actually talk to each other. Corey set his sights on Sabrina on her birthday, and despite thinking she was “out of his league,” he put a plan into action. He did a bit of reconnaissance and discovered they had something in common: a deep love of musicals. So he reached out to a mutual friend to get her phone number and began messaging her about their obsession at the time: Hamilton. The two flirted over the phone for some time, learning more and more about each other. They finally spoke in person a week or so later, when Corey used his now infamous line: “My brother dated a Sabrina, she was hot too.” After that day, Corey made a point of hanging out wherever he thought Sabrina might show up--near her study spots, where she ate lunch, and in the area close to her locker. Even if Sabrina had wanted to ignore him there was no chance. She was a goner.
