Dare I say the best all around brewery in Boise. Located on the south side of downtown, there is a beer for everyone here as well as some canned mixed drinks. A large outdoor patio area and usually a food truck available.
Payette Brewing is the best all around brewery, but this place is definitely my favorite. I'm a sucker for a good sour pucker. The best sour brews I've ever had. If you like sours, get a tasting flight and try to narrow down which ones to try first. The location in Garden City is our favorite, but the beer downtown is just as tasty.
A great breakfast spot with even more amazing owners. A small variety of meals, but as you can expect most revolving around bacon. They have many different flavored bacon, if you cant decide then I highly recommend the bacon shots for a good tasting. Don't forget your bloody mary or mimosa!
THE BEST sandwiches in town! This was the first addictions Sabrina introduced me to when I first started visiting her in Boise. A bit on the pricey side as sandwiches go, but oh so worth it. Right in the middle of downtown, a close walk past the capital building as well.
A nice food hall located right downtown, there is something good for everyone. There are a couple bars in the middle as well, and plenty of TVs around if there is a game on.
The best local pizza spot in town! They have some creative pizza recipes, but you must try the Honey Badger! If you're lucky enough to still be here on Monday night, you can get a pizza and bottle of wine for a great deal on neighborhood night.
Nestled in the middle of downtown along a blocked off street to make navigating all the restaurants in the area. While we specifically put this one on the list, there are plenty of options right here along 8th street. Take a look at your maps and see which one looks best to you, you can't go wrong.
This place is a little further away from downtown, but what you pay for an Uber you can make up for during the best happy hour in town. BOGO drinks, a mexican themed happy hour menu, and a riverside patio. Only catch is.... the happy hour is only M-F from 4-6pm. But get there right at 4, the bar area fills up quick and then you are out of luck.
This old time bar is a Boise staple, now owned by some of out closest friends. "Home of the Heavy Pour" - You won't find a more welcoming crew with stiff cheap drinks. It's the perfect place for a nightcap in the middle of downtown.
Tacos and margaritas. If you like 'em hot, this place is amazing. Best part, you can order the tacos to go and take them next door to visit Gem State Brewing if you'd rather a cold pint while you eat!
The best mimosas in town! Make sure you make reservations on the weekend though, we aren't the only ones that love this place!
Amazing breakfast options in a cozy rustic building. Many different breakfast options, including massive cinnamon rolls.
A good variety of burgers and milkshakes. But come with an appetite, and probably a partner. Trying to tackle both of these on your own is a losing battle.
