No, please leave them at home and spend the night having fun with us!
Unfortunately this has been the most difficult part to coordinate. Because of it's location, our venue has stated that there is no reliable Uber/Lyft available to or from the venue. But here are some options.... Option 1: We've got you covered! We have reserved a 55 person shuttle bus to take those who would like from the group rate hotel (The Home2 Suites Downtown Boise) to the venue, as well as from the venue back to The Home2 Suites after the reception. Once there, Uber/Lyft can get you back to where you're staying if not at that hotel. The only downside to this is if you are considering leaving the venue early, as it will only be a making one trip each way. Option 2: Rent a car and drive out to the venue on your own. This might be the best option if you don't plan on drinking (or have a sober driver) and don't expect to stay until the music stops at 11pm. We're sorry for the inconvenience, but we promise it will be worth it once you see this venue! If you do want to take advantage of the shuttle, please RSVP on our website so that we can get an accurate head count.
Yes! We will have a selections of wines from the hosting winery, as well as a couple beer options. Unfortunately it won't be a full bar with liquor or mixed drinks. Bring some cash if you wish to tip the bartender, otherwise we've got it covered!
The walk in will be along some cement road, down a gravel path, to a patio area with cement and a wood patio dance floor. The area for the ceremony and dinner will be on the lawn, so wear stiletto high heels at your own risk. Hopefully the ground isn't too soft by the end of August.
Your guess is as good as ours? (Nervous laughing) No, we picked this date specifically because we wanted to give ourselves the best chance for great weather. August in Boise, it's still the middle/end of summer. We can expect the highs to be right around the time of the ceremony, hopefully somewhere in the low 80's - low 90's. The sun sets around 9pm this time of year, and the temperature goes down with it. Maybe have a light coat available for the last couple hours, or just get your booze jacket and dancing shoes on and you'll be just fine!
We have to shut down the party by 11pm due to local ordinances. We hope you stay out on the dance floor as long as your legs will allow, but we understand if you need to leave early to take care of yourself!
